Britain’s Tank, Gun Output Up 50 P.C. For Quarter

(Rec. 1 p.m.) LONDON, May 22. Despite air raids, the output of tanks and guns in Britain in the first quarter of 1941 was 50 per cent, higher than in the December quarter, which w as the best of last year.
