Auckland Airman Suffers Shell Wounds

The following official air casualty was reported today: Sergeant Lawrence Patrick Ryan, R.N.Z.A.F., admitted to hospital and placed on the seriously ill list, suffering from shell wounds in the right thigh and arm. sustained in air operations. His next of kin is Mr W. P. Ryan, of Point Chevalier, Auckland, his father.
