More Australian Munition Factories
(Rec. 2.30 p.m.) SYDNEY, This Day. The Minister for Munitions tor P. Mcßride) announces that it has been decided to establish, at a cost of several million pounds, an extensive group of Commonwealth Government explosive factories near Sydney. Several types of explosives would be made at the factories on a large scale. Aircraft bombs and other types of bombs and grenades and gun ammunition would be filled at the factories which would employ about 1500 people.
