Air Force Planes, Band For Whangarei

[Special to “Northern Advocate ”] AUCKLAND, This Day.

Satisfaction with the recruiting in Auckland during the past two days for the Royal New Zealand Air Force was expressed today by Air Force officers and city headquarters. On Monday and Tuesday 160 prospective pilots and observers volunteered for service.

As part of the recruiting campaign in Whangarei the band of the Royal Air Force will march through the streets and formation flights will be made over the town by machines from Whenuapai air base on Thursday of next week.
