Bronwen Runs An Attractive Mile

Eronwen ran an attractive mile ai Takanini this morning, a distance over which Cillas and Cornish also went exceptionally well. Mysito, Full Hand, Dinky Di, Palustre and Miss Jose were others to please.
Bronwen, with the assistance of Miss Jose over the last six furlongs in 1.16 2-5, completed a mile in 1.41 2-5, after running the first half mile in 48sec.
Cillas and Cornish covered a similar distance in 1.43 2-5.
Full Hand was better than Orelio at the finish of seven furlongs in 1.29 4-5. Mysito beat Arvakur by two lengths at the end of five furlongs in 1.2 2-5 Mysito worked pleasingly. Palustre Best Sprinter
The best effort over five furlongs was recorded by Palustre, who ran the distance in 1.2 1-5, doing her work well. Dinky Di, who was assisted over the first half mile by Brazen Bold, ran five furlongs in 1.2 3-5. Other gallops were:
Three furlongs: Kraal, 40 1-5; Nordic Song, 40 1-5; Lapidarian and Court Favourite, last three of seven in 40 2-5.
Four furlongs: Miss Gay, 51; Hunting Bee, 51 3-5; Hineiti, 53. Five furlongs: Small Boy, 1.9, last five of a round; Foxola, 1.11 easily. Six furlongs: Tellsom, 1.15 3-5; Surpai and Ascot Bloom, 1.16 3-5.
