Assault Victim Dies In Hospital

[Special to “Northern Advocate”} WELLINGTON, This Day.

The woman who was found seriously injured and unconscious as the result of an assault at Oriental Bay, Wellington, on Thursday morning, died in hospital .at 7 a.m. yesterday. She has been identified as Mrs Marjory Livingstone Horton, who lived in a flat at 333 The Terrace. Mrs Horton visited friends at Lower Hutt on Wednesday evening, and left to catch a bus for Wellington at 10.30 p.m., arriving .at the railway station, Wellington, at 11.15. A woman answering her description was seen by the bus driver to enter the bus, which gradually filled on the way to Wellington, and in consequence she was no't seen alighting from the bus at Wellington, although it is presumed that she remained aboard until it reached the city.
