Military Hospital For Rotorua

t Special to “Northern Advocate ”] ROTORUA, This Day.

Plans have been completed for tire erection of a military hospital of 121) beds at Rotorua. Advice to this effect lias been received by Mr A. F. Moncur, MP., from the Minister for Health (Mr Armstrong). It is believed the building will eventually be used as a Government sanatorium, although not until after the war.

The building will be situated in the Government grounds, and will be entirely self-contained, with its own operating theatre, nurses’ home, kitchens and laundry. It is understood that tenders will be called early in the New Year, and construction will begin as soon as possible.
