Kensington Bowlers Visit Paparoa, Win

Three teams of bowlers from the Kensington Club visited Paparoa yesterday and played teams from the Paparoa Club.

Weather conditions were ideal and the visitors \yere hospitably entertained by the Paparoa ladies. It was ascertained that the president of the Kensington Club (Mr. L. Nisbet) was enjoying a birthday and the hosts and hostesses helped him celebrate by providing a large iced cake complete with frills and candles.

Kensington won two of the games and the other was drawn, the difference in aggregate being two in favour of the visitors.

Results were, Kensington names being given first:—McCarthy, Grist, Gribble, Erceg 18, Cliff, McCarroll, Jenkins, Bell 17; Wyatt, Ferguson, Curtis, Tibbets 25, Metcalfe, Sutherland, Wright, Jenkins 24; Georgeson, McGahey, Smeaton, Nisbet 16, Stratford, Dodds, Dewar, Hailwood 16.
