Hundreds Of Speedboats Massed For Invasion

(Received 12.30 p.mi.) LONDON, September 12,

An Istanbul cable says that according to a neutral informant just arrived from Germany, Hitler has collected between 1500 and 2000 naval speedboats, each capable of holding 70 men, for the invasion of Britain.

Many are stated to have been destroyed by recent R.A.F. raids.

The informant declares that illfeeling has lately grown considerably between German troops and Nazi Black Guards.

Clashes have occurred between officers on leave and young Black Guards who have never been at the front.

The issue of larger rations to Black Guards is also causing resentment.

The Berlin News Agency stated that the German Commander-in-Chief (General Brauschitsch) has completed a tour of inspection of Northern France and the Atlantic Coast.
