Social Afternoon For Emergency Corps
Members of the Hikurangi Women’s Emergency Corps held a social afternoon on Tuesday. The time w.as tilled in with dancing, games and competitions. Prize-winners were Mesdames Beeston and Boswell and Miss McLean.
A discussion concerning the Fighter Plane Fund showed the Emergency Corps to be fully in sympathy with the project. They are to arrange a house to house canvass of the district.
