New Privy Councillors

IBritish Official Wireless.l RUGBY, June 6. Among those whom His Majesty the King yesterday approved should be “sworn of His Majesty’s Most Honourable Prfvy Council,” are the Minister for Shipping (Mr. R. H. Cross), the Minister for Economic Warfare (Dr. Hugh Dalton) and Sir Charles Edwards and Sir Percy Harris, chief Whips of the Labour and Liberal parties respectively. Other new Privy Councillors are Sir Walter Citrine, Secretary of the Trades Union Congress, Sir Robert Vansittart, Chief Diplomatic Adviser to the Foreign Office, and Mr. Brendan Bracken, Parliamentary Private Secretary to Mr. Churchill.
