N.Z.F. Conference Postponement Criticised

[Special to "tt'vrM Aavorntp”! HAMILTON, This Day. Considerable concern among dairy factory directors in the Waikato has been caused by the decision of the executive of the National Dairy Federation to postpone its annual conference, which was to have been held in Auckland on June 26, 27 and 28 next. The chairman of directors of the Morrinsville Co-operative Dairy Company, Ltd, (Mr F. W. Seifert) pointed out that production would in no way be interfered with by the holding of the conference, as the meeting was held in the offiseason and few, if any, of the delegates milked their own cows. Many important remits had been prepared for discussion, * including matters relating to cream transport costs, skilled labour and the supply of fertilisers. The Morrinsville company, he said, had written to the executive protesting against the postponement and asking for the decision to be reconsidered.
