Details of the latest district results are: Wellington, £23,000; Auckland, £20,000; Canterbury, £20,500; Dunedin, £13,000; Gisborne, £500; Hawke’s Bay, £8750; Taranaki, £4000; Blenheim. £700; West Coast, £800; Palmerston North, £8000; Wanganui City, £3200.
