No Farmers’ Returns Forms At Whangarei

Only tax form of which stocks are completely exhausted at the Whangarei Post Office, is the special form used for farmers’ returns. There is still a fair supply of ordinary income tax forms and social security forms. Owing to the war causing a shortage of paper, the Government printer was unable to supply the full quota of forms this year, but it is expected that further supplies of all forms will /be available by May 15. Social security levies, due this month, are already keeping the counter staff at the Post Office busy, particularly as women’s levies in addition to men’s are due.
