Australian Petrol Prices To Go Up 3d.
(Received 11.30 a.m.) CANBERRA, This Day. Petrol prices throughout Australia will be increased by 3d. per gallon from today. Thus the extra duty imposed by the Federal Government last week will bo passed on to consumers. The new rates will be: Ordinary grade, 2/4. First grade, 2/5. Petrol is now 7d. a gallon above the pre-war price.
