At the final session of the annual conference of the New Zealand Returned Soldiers’ Association officers were elected as follows: President, Mr W. Perry; Dominion vice-president, Mr B. J. Jacobs; district vice-presidents, Messrs D. I. Gates (Auckland), F. B. Lloyd (Well-ington-Nelson-Marlborough), W. Spillane (Canterbury-Westland), N. H. Colquhoun (Ctago-Southland); honorary treasurer, Mr J. D. Harper; executive committee, Messrs A. T. Duncan, H. B. Burdekin, W. E. Leadley, H.R. Biss, C. W. Batten (Auckland nomination), E. C. Hale (Otago-South-land), G. A. Hayden (CanterburyWestland), C. O. Bell (Wellington-Nelson-Marlborough), Lieut.-Colonel A. Cowles; representative on N.Z. Expeditionary Force Canteen and Regimental Trust Board, Colonel M. Aidred; representative on War Pension Board, Mr J D. Harper; representatives on Soldiers' Civil Re-establish-ment League, Messrs J. I. Goldsmith, C. W. Batten and G. A. Hayden; representatives on Great War Funds Administration Committee of the Joint Council of Order of St. John and the New' Zealand Red Cross Society, Messrs E. C. Hale and H. B. Burdekin; representative on the Dominion Executive of the Farmers’ Union. Mr W. Horrobin.
