Total Clearance At Houhora
The New Loan and Mercantile Agency Company Limited reports having held a stock sale at Houhora when there was an average yarding, chiefly boners, and a good attendance of buyers saw a total clearance. Light fat Jersey cows made from £4 10/ to £5 5/; forward, 21-year steers, £5 15/; boner cows, £2 12/6 to £3 3/; boner bulls, £2 10/ to £4 10/; cows and calves, Jersey, £3 10/ to £4 11/; springing Shorthorn heifers, £5 to £5 17/6.
