Sydney Girl Cured Of Mystery Malady

Mary Louise Sheffer, 10-year-old Sydney girl, who came to America last month suffering from mysterious spells of unconsciousness, has been cured. She is planning to visit Niagara Falls and other scenic points in America before returning to Australia. She has been a patient at the Leahy Clinic, Boston, where she was known as the “Sunshine Girl.” Sydney doctors who examined her told her fath'er that she might be suffering from any of 25 complaints. Leahy Clinic doctors operated on her a fortnight ago to relieve intercranial pressure caused by excess spinal fluid. Now she has been discharged from hospital, but must report during her convalescence.
