“England Not More Christian Than Uganda”

The Bishop of London, preaching at the festival service of the Church Misisonary Society, declared that England was no more converted to Christianity than Uganda. Europe was as much involved in the conflict between Christ and the Devil as Asia. Christendom has disappeared as a geographical term, and would only re-appear when Christian people throughout the world stood together in one faith.
