Petrol Famine Halts Vancouver Traffic
(Received 10.30 a.m.) . . VANCOUVER, April 29. Hundreds of automobiles stopped throughout the city on the fourth day of a petrol famine. The oil companies are refusing to sell at prices the Government set below the previous scale, although the court validated the price fixing. . The police have added to the confusion by threatening to fine owners of cars for parking too long.
