Condemn Red Saboteurs

“Disruptive and insidious propaganda is being circulated throughout the country, especially among farmers by communists,” said Mr D. A. Finlayson (Maungaturoto) yesterday. At the dairy conference he moved a remit from his company that the conference affirmed its loyalty to the King and Empire and emphatically condemned the actions of those people who in any way attempt to sabotage the country’s war effort. Mr Finlayson also instanced the placing of anti-war stickers on butter boxes being shipped to England from this country. He considered that the conference should come out with some statement to combat this Communistic propaganda. Unanimous support was given to the remit.
