Wet Weather in Auckland The recruiting announcement from the Drill Flail, Rutland Street, this morning, shows that a furtherHß men have signed up for service with the Third Echelon. Though this is a considerable drop on the figures in the last two lists, the wet weather may be put down as one factor causing a decline. Today’s Enlistments » The improvement shown on Saturday was continued again today, when, up to 3 p.m. a further five enlistments were registered as follows: Whangarei—K. Tito (Portland), F. Mee (Portland). Kaitaia—W. F. Haywood, P. H. D. Smith (Waiharara). Kaikohe —L. A. Carr (Waimatenui).
