Mr C. E. Messenger, of the £ost Office staff, is attending training camp at Waiouru. Mr J. W. Smith has returned to duty at the Post Office. Mr P. Kinghafn has resumed duties at Messrs. Andrewes & Sons’ store, after spending a holiday in Wellington. ‘Up to the 15th of this month a total rainfall of 2.65 inches had been -recorded on/the gauge .at Kohukohu. The average fall for the month of February, taken .over a nine years’ period, has been 4.42 inches.
