Explosion In Mine Machinery

[Per Press Association. Copyright l DUNEDIN, This Day. . Considerable concern was felt at the Kaitangata coalmine during the week-end when it was found that the magazine at the pithead had been broken into and a stick of samsonite was missing. Fearing sabotage as the motive, the manager stopped the machinery and called the police. As the result of inquiries by detectives, the missing stick was discovered in part of the machinery, and a juvenile will probably be charged in the Children’s Court.
