First Army Casualty List Release Tomorrow

The Secretary of State for War (Mr Gliver Stanley) stated in the House of Commons that casualty lists will be published from time to time. They will be of arbitary length, covering casualies in all war theatres, and not referring to any particular engagement. There would usually be no indication of the date or. circumstances in which the casualty occurred. First List Tomorrow
The first list, covering the period to December 31, will be issued tomorrow, containing 40 names of persons killed and wounded to that date.
The list further includes 720 deaths from accident or disease at home or overseas during the same period. Mr Stanley said there had been no undue number of deaths from disease, the number about what was to be expected in the circumstances, although there had been a number of regrettable deaths from traffic accidents.
