Empire’s Huge Gold Shipments To U.S.
(Received 10.30 a.m.) WASHINGTON, January 30. The British Empire has shipped to the United States gold to the value of 890,000,000 dollars since the war started. Canada has sent 550,000,000, Britain 210,000,000, New Zealand and Australia 40,000,000, India 30,000,000 and South Africa and others, 60,000,000 dollars’ worth.
