H. K. Brainsby To Train As Officer

[Special to “Northern Advocate”] AUCKLAND, This Day. To proceed to army schools of instruction for a course of training as officers, 47 non-commissioned members of the Second Echelon in camp have- been selected to report on January 31. They are from Papakura and Ngaruawahia. If they qualify after the training course they will be appointed to commissions. Included in the list of names are those of two former All Blacks (G. A. H. Bullock-Douglas and C. S. Pepper), also that of H. K. Brainsby, former Empire Games representative and New Zealand champion in jumping events.
