Hanan Still Auckland Sprint Swim Champ.
[Special to “Northern Advocate’ M i AUCKLAND This Day. The 50 yards swimming championship of Auckland was retained last night by P. Hanan, of the ML Eden Club, in the good time of 25 seconds. The race was contested at the Mt. Eden Club’s carnival. The New Zealand record, 23 3-5 seconds, is held by W. J. Jarvis, of Otago.
