Messrs. Dalgety. and Company, Ltd., report small ,yardings at the Ohaeawai and Kaikohe sales this week.
Store cattle were hard to quit, neverthe less the greater part of the yardings changed hands. Ohaeawai. —Best dairy cows made to £5/10/; others, £3/5/ to £4/10/; fat cows, £5/5/ to £6/13/; fat Jersey cows, £ 3/9/ to £3/12/; coloured yearling steers, £l/15/- to £2/5/. Kaikohe.—Springing cows, £3/7/6 to £5; fat cows, £4/2/ to £5/9/; twoyear Shorthorn steers, £4/1/- to £4/2/6; cows and calves, £4/3/; empty cows, £3/2/ to £3/6/.
