Word has been received that Miss Esme Porter has returned to London from Glasgow after successfully completing her midwifery training.

Mr T. O'Shea is an inmate of the Whangarei District Hospital. Mrs J. A. Wenzlick, who is staying with her daughter, Mrs Jensen, in Bayswater, Auckland, is to go on to Thames to visit another daughter, Mrs F. Hill. Mrs T. E. Churches is home from hospital, and is progressing splendidly. Mrs Litt, senr., is visiting her daughter, Mrs Doug. Morris, at Morrinsville. Mrs A. MacKenzie has been entertaining relatives from Auckland. The satisfactory sum of £34 was cleared at the flower show held recently.
