Kaikohe Athletic Dance Well Attended

KAIKCHE, This Day

The largest crowd ever to attend a Saturday night dance in Kaikohe was present at the Kaikohe Amateur Athletic Club’s dance on Saturday. Nearly 200 dancers crowded the Recreation Hall, and the cramped dancing space only added to the merriment of the evening. Tne evening was kept swinging under the capable control of Mr H. J. Roberts. After the dance, the club committee decided that £3. a portion of the evening’s profit, should be donated towards the Kaikohe Centennial Fund.
