Saturday’s Rugby Match
The North Auckland Rugby Union are to be congratulated upon the thought they gave to the comfort of patrons of the big match at Kensington on Saturday. Access to the ground was simple and good. Cars were not queued up at the gates waiting for tickets—on the contrary they were directed to their positions, and packed without expense. The passengers then paid ' for their admission as they walked through the gates. This was a very satisfactory method of securing payment from patrons. There was. however, one weakness. A number of people walked to the auxiliary stand without securing tickets and enjoyed a good view of the match without extra payment. The management may be able to improve on this for the next matches. But for tin's exception, the control of the traffic and the arrangements made for patrons were very good. It was noticeable that people from all over Northland were present.
