Spotlight 0n... Mr. R. G. Menzies
Mr R. C. Menzies , Federal Prime Minister, who appeals for disciplined democracy and a united national outlook in the face of Australia’s danger was horn in Melbourne forty-four years ago. Mr Menzies practised as a barrister, and entered the Victorian Parliament in 1928. He held several Ministerial posts in Victoria and was Acting Premier in 1934. Upon the death of Mr J. A. Lyons a few months ago, he became Prime Minister of Australia.
