(Received 12 Noon.) LONDON, July 21. The newspapers treat sensationally Mr MacDonald's references in his speech in defence of the Palestine Policy to “an organised movement to try to smash the Government’s White Paper policy." They point out that the Minister accuses Palestine, leaders of condoning a Jew smuggling plot. “The Times,’’ in editorial comment, commends the policy, and declares that the speech of Mr MacDonald was the finest he has ever made.
