[Special to “Northern Advocate”! RAWENE, This Day.

Pleading guilty in the Rawene Police Court on Wednesday to charges of breaking and entexung the premises of Kendall's Store, at Mitimiti, on May 28, and stealing a safe and its contents, Walter Anania, aged 23, of Kaihu, was committed to the Supreme Court for sentence. Messrs Lane and Railley, J.Ps., were on the Bench. Outlining the case, Detective G. F. Miller said that, together with Constable Frayne, he had made extensive inquiries into the case before the arrest of accused. Anania, the detective slated, had broken into the store at night, and had removed the firm's safe from the premises, taking approximately £2O.
