Tangiahua Six Weeks Without Rugby
For the sixth Saturday in succession, Rangiahua seniors won by default in the North Hokianga championship. Motukaraka being unable to travel.
Broadwood, alone in not having defaulted when called upon to travel, beat Pawarenga decisively. Their juniors also prevailed over Pawarenga, the game being as close as the score (3-0) indicates. Rough play was witnessed at Waiwaka, where 'the heavier local side defeated Mangamuka 12-3. Good combination led to the scoring of Waiwaka’s four unconverted tries.
