Golf Club Property Destroyed

[Special to “Northern Advocate CAMBRIDGE, Saturday. Damage to the extent of £4O was done to the Cambridge Golf Club’s pavilion last night. The club recently enlarged the clubhouse, which has many windows. With two exceptions, these were smashed by a man who threw furniture, and anything else he could find, through them. The man also smashed seats and tee-boxes, and even attempted to smash down the club's large wooden sign. A stranger to Cambridge, found walking in his bare feet, was arrested late last night, and placed in the police lock-up. He was medically examined this morning.
