Mussolini Cheated Me: Albania Will Cheat Him

WARSAW, July 8,
Deposed ruler of Albania, King Zog, interviewed before leaving Warsaw for England, said: “I am very tired after all I have experienced. Although the Queen and I need rest, we .are going to work to free Albania.” Queen Geraldine said they hoped to spend a long holiday in England. “So far, we have not decided what we shall do there,” she added, “but the King has important plans. Signor Mussolini cheated my people and me. Albania will cheat him.”
Members of the Royal entourage revealed that the Albanians are still waging guerilla war. Over 3000 Italians have been killed since the invasion. The blinds of the Italian embassy in Warsaw were lowered as the Royal party drove from their hotel. Crowds in the streets shouted: “Long live King Zog; Down with Italy.”
