British Ambassador Interviews P.M.

(Received 12.30 p.m.) LONDON, July 3. The British Ambassador to Poland, Sir Howard Kennard, saw Mr Chamberlain yesterday morning, when Lord Halifax was also present. Mr Chamberlain later was received in audience by* the King. Polish Reports, Polish sources reported today that fresh supplies of war materials were landed at Danzig from a German steamer, including long-range guns, light tanks and'anti-aircraft guns. Some of the side sti’eets in Danzig are closed to traffic and guarded by Stcrm Trooper's. The French Foreign Minister, M, Bonnet, received the German Ambassador, Count Welczeck, and warned him of France’s firm determination to fulfil to the hilt her obligations to Poland. M. Bonnet emphasised that France would not tolerate any attempt to annex Danzig either from within or without.
