Call-Box Telephones Stolen

Eight of thirteen telephones stolon from public call boxes in the Felone and Lower Hu it areas early last Sunday morning have been recovered by the pclice. They were found dumped in various parts of Wellington. . Seven youths, believed to have been implicated in the theft;, have been located. Some of them. it is understood, arc- under the age of 17, and will appear in the Children's Court.
It is expected that the balance of the missing telephones will also be recovered.
Fine gold was quoted in London yesterday at £7 8/61- an ounce, the same as on Saturday. The quotation for silver at per fine ounce was 19|d, compared with 19 7-16 d on June SO.
