Waiting At The Church

With arrangements completed for her wedding in Christchurch yesterday. a Grcymouth girl found herself without the man to whom she had been engaged for the past six months. The bridegroom, who is said to have come originally fi’om Southland, failed to appear. The last occasion on which the girl saw her fiance was last Sunday week. Arrangements were then made for the pair to come to Christchurch early last week to complete the formalities for their marriage.
