Kirchmeyer And Martinez Draw
[Special to “Northern Advocate”! AUCKLAND, This Day. A rather tame wrestling contest at the Town Hall last night between Rollend Kirchmeyer, 17 stone, and Ignacio Martinez, 17 stone 8 lbs., resulted in a draw. Each man secured one fall and the decision was given on points. Kirchmeyer was fortunate to divide the purse, as he seemed in difficulties throughout against a heavier, stronger and more skilful opponent.
