Don’t Forget The S.P.C.A.
Tc-day you’ve read lots about the Matahourua Hapu’s White Elephant. Right next door is the S.P.C.A.’s stall. The S.P.C.A., you know. Is the society which looks after animals—prevents unnecessary cruelty, and help:: people all it can tc keep their pets hapny and healthy. This good work naturally requires much money, and to obtain funds is a problem for the S.P.C'.A. Each year, however, this stall at the Exhibition is arranged and all the proceeds are spent in the interests of our dumb friends.
All the year, Mrs Patterson ami other ladies have been preparing fancy work and other things for their stall. The result is that this year’s effort is even better than last year, ami that’s saying something!
When you take Mother to sec the White Elephant stall be sure you go next door and see what the S.P.C.A. has to offer.
