Britain’s Steel Shelters

LONDON, June 24.

The Government is placing an order for one million more of its standard steel shelters designed to give protection from blast splinters'and debris. A considerable speed up in production is expected as the result of the arrangements being made for the use of new sources of raw material. In all, 726,000 shelters have already been delivered to householders, providing accommodation for nearly 4,500,000 people.
