Germany Fortifies Against Poland

BERLIN, June 24

The newspapers publish the first official sketchy of Germany’s frontier defences around East Prussia under the heading: “Fortress against Poland’s Appetite for Conquest.” The sketch shows an uninterrupted line of heavy fortifications from'Memel to Marienburg, with a second line in the so-called Heilsberg triangle.
