High Honour For N.Z. Public Servants

I Per Press Association. Copyright.'] WELLINGTON, This Day.

Two Commonwealth Fund Service Fellowships have been awarded this year to members of the New Zealand Public Service —one to Mr D. W. Woodward, of the Department of Industries and Commerce, and the other to Mr H. L. Hume, of the Public Works Department. This is a particularly high honour for the Dominion, for only five fellowships are awarded annually to members of permanent cadres holding appointments overseas under the British Government, the Indian Government or the Government Protectorate or Mandated Territory.
