His Excellency the GovernorGeneral, Lord Galway, will leave Auckland on Thursday next and is expected to resume residence at Government House, Wellington, at the week-end.

Mr S. G. Holland, National member for Christchurch North, passed through Whangarei this’.afternoon en route to Kerikeri, where he will give a public address tonight. He will spend several days in the Bay of Islands electorate.
