(Received 10.0 a.m.) SYDNEY, June 11. The Australian Jockey Club’s winter meeting was opened at Randwick yesterday. The chief event. the Australian Jockey Club’s Hurdles, was won decisively by Cheery Jack, from the four-year-old Jack Mac. with the Now Zea-land-bred gelding Capaneus third.
