Man Burned To Death In House

A man, believed to be Mr Augustus Trevitt Hamilton, married, aged about 50, was burned to death in a house at Springston South Inst night.

The house was a wooden one. containing six rooms, and was situated about half a mile from Springston South. It was occupied by Mr Hamilton. his wife and a boy aged four. The house was seen to be on lire at six o'clock. Constable Fallon went !o the scone and noticed the charred body of a man in the blazing build-

Becauso of the intense heat and lack of water, he was unable to recover the body from the flames.

Mr Hamilton was the only one in the house during the day. iris wife and child having gone out in the morning. There are two other members of the family, .a girl aged 17 and a boy aged 15. but they did not reside at the house, as they arc working away from home.
