Subscriptions To Internal Loan
[Per Press Association. Copyright .l WELLINGTON. This Day. No official information is yet available as to the details of subscriptions to the £4,500,000 loan. Inquiries in Wellington yesterday disclosed, however, that the following amounts had been taken up by insurance companies;—Australian Mutual Provident Society, £250,000; Temperance and General Mutual Life Society, £100,000; Colonial Mutual Life Assurance of Australasia, Ltd., £52.000; National Mutual Life Association of Australasia. Ltd.. £50.000; Mutual Life and Citizens’ Assurance Company, £50,000; North Island Motor Union Insurance Company, £20,000.
It is understood the trading banks and other financial institutions have also given geherous support to the loan.
